French Scientific Drawings

The wife and I have established from our multiple trips to Paris that the French have an interesting if not artistic take on science. From the amazing taxidermy of Deyrolle to the interesting juxtapositions in the Paris Museum of Natural History (also ripe with interesting taxidermy). These illustrations from the 1960s are both beautiful and slightly disturbing. They also inspired the poster for Being John Malkovitch.
